From our Congregation President…

Welcome to Messiah Lutheran Church on the internet.  We are pleased that you chose to be here and welcome you to attend Sunday and Wednesday worship services; and, the many programs, activities and events for all ages.

Messiah is embarking on a “New Beginning” as the congregation recently voted to join LUTHERAN CONGREGATIONS in MISSION for CHRIST after ending our affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  LCMC is similar to the former American Lutheran Church.  Our congregation was organized on September 19, 1901and joined LCMC on September 19, 2010. 

Changing Messiah’s national affiliation will not change our commitment to connecting with Christ, one another and those in need of a Biblical, Evangelical and Mission driven Lutheran Congregation; our various styles of worship; dedication to excellent children, youth and adult ministries; the joy and love we share in the name of Jesus; and much more including the practice of Open Holy Communion.

If you are looking for a place to worship and a congregation that will welcome you with open arms, Messiah will start your faith or help you grow your faith.
